    The same carbon fiber handguard featured on our Paladin SD Carbon. Ultra-light weight at only 6.7 oz for the entire system, including hardware. Made from forged carbon fiber mated to a 7075 hardcoat anodized barrel nut. M-LOK attachment points at 3', 6', and 9'. Bonded carbon fiber picatinny rail. Our handguard has an ID of 1.78" and will fit any silencers up to 1.75" like those from Q, CGS, etc. Forged carbon fiber is extremely strong and durable given its weight, comparable to 6061 aluminum which is what most AR handguards are made of.

    We love pistol caliber subguns and the CZ Scorpion is a great platform. While out of the box there is much to be desired, we go through the entire gun and address every area to bring you a slick, smooth, ready to rock subgun!  We take all of the guess work out of this platform and put together a complete comprehensive package that runs suppressed (the way a subgun should be!) and is completely serviceable. First we start with the fire controls. Every Scorpion build comes standard with HB Industries skeletonized billet triggers and spring kits to give the Scorpion a proper light and crisp trigger pull. We scrap the small stock charging handle for an HB Industries oversized unit for easier manipulation and that classic MP5 style charging handle slap. The factory ambi safety selector digs into your hand, so we add an HB AK Style safety for comfortable shooting. Speaking of comfort, the factory grip is terrible, so we run Yeti Wurks grips for their great ergonomics and built in storage. The small plastic mag release is also replaced in favor of an HB Industries enhanced billet unit. Folding stocks are the way to go as they are the lightest and most compact while folded. Our builds come standard with the SB Tactical Scorpion folding braces. Lastly, we install the free floating Midwest Industries handguards to house the YHM R9 Silencer and allow for easy access to the silencer and barrel assembly. This is especially important for CT folks! These builds are complete with no guess work. Just throw your favorite optic on and go!

    In the Paladin's earlier stages of development, we did a collaboration of these lightweight BCGs with ICRW. This coating: C4V is similar to the TDC we use today, which are both superior to any conventional TiN, Black Nitride, Nickel Boron, etc. It yields a hardness of 2600 vickers, which means carbon has minimum opportunity to cling to it. This results in smoother cycling, longer intervals in between cleanings / oiling, and MUCH easier cleaning overall. Not to mention the reduced recoil and ability shoot faster!     When looking at the current market for 9mm silencers for subgun and PCC applications we saw a major gap, so we decided to fill it! True to our design ethos: lightweight, premium, great performance and purpose built, the GQ Armory Paragon 9mm silencer redefines the meaning of a "K" silencer. Developed with Otter Creek Labs (so you know it's quiet), we built this silencer with two main goals in mind: To be as small and light as possible and to offer excellent sound suppression (full size silencer performance). Most silencers try to accommodate too many uses and this leads to compromise in size, weight and sound performance. Constructed of 100% 6AL-4V aerospace grade billet titanium, this silencer weighs in at a mere 6 oz and is only 5" long. Billet 6AL-4V yields the strongest properties and most erosion resistance for a titanium silencer (stronger than sintered baffles and 3D printed titanium). Given it's billet titanium construction, the Paragon 9 is rifle caliber rated and can also be used as a traditional K silencer on calibers like .300 blackout and 8.6 blackout. Forget cheap cerakote that scratches easily, each Paragon 9mm silencer comes coated in premium DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) for its superior scratch and temperature resistance, but also beautiful finish. Each silencer ships standard with your choice of a titanium 1/2x28 direct thread mount or a titanium Reardon Atlas Ti mount for use with tapered fast attach muzzle devices like the Rearden MFG (what we use on our guns), Liberty Precision, and Q Cherry Bomb / Plan B. We use the industry standard 1.375x24 internal thread which provides endless mounting options including Tri-Lug and Boosters/Nielsons for semi-auto handguns. This silencer is a must have for your 9mm subgun and can double as a great K silencer for .300 blackout!

In efforts to keep .300 blackout ammunition costs down, plated or bonded copper bullets (commonly called TMC or TMJ Total Metal Jacket projectiles) are being used by some manufacturers. Given their poor construction, they will spin apart in fast twist, match grade barrels which creates a dangerous situation that can cause damage to your gun, muzzle device and silencer. Do not hesitate to ask us first before running a brand of ammunition if you are unsure.
